Policy Document 02: Brisbane Cycling Club Roles Descriptions

The Brisbane Cycling Club (BNECC) is a successful organisation driven by its members attitude, alignment to the club values and its organising committee. Being a committee member is a rewarding and challenging experience. Committee members are first and foremost ambassadors for the club – representing the values of the club on and off the bike, present in the life of the club, and upholding other committee members in conversation with club members. It is important that the roles of the committee are clear and followed through to ensure the viability of the club. Policy Document 03: Racing with Brisbane Cycling Club

Pinning a number on and racing your bike is brilliant fun, a great way to stay fit, connect with the local cycling community and improve your skills on the bike. Brisbane has a very active and well supported racing community, with racing taking place almost every week of the year across all disciplines and at all levels. Policy Document 04: Brisbane Cycling Club Elite Race Team TOR

BNECC has an Elite Race Team to further the racing opportunities offered to BNECC members. It aims to:
• foster talent within the Club and support rider progression, providing a pathway into state level teams competition; and
• provide a sustainable structure for the promotion of the Club at an elite racing level.
In 2023, the intent is for the BNECC Elite Race Team to enter the Queensland Road Team Series (QRTS), in the Elite Male category, which comprises of four race weekends that includes road races, criteriums & individual/team time trials. Find here the Terms of Reference.
